Audit Partner

You will lead Benford's audit practice in Sweden, owning strategy, clients, delivery and quality. You are a qualified auditor who signs opinions, and you will build the market from the first engagement onwards.

Why Benford

Audit at the small and mid-market end has been abandoned while fees keep rising. The largest firms are stepping back, and every previous attempt to modernise the work aimed at the auditor's desk and left the firm itself untouched.

Benford is vertically integrated instead. We hold the licence, we build the platform and we employ the auditor who signs. AuditOS connects to the systems a company runs on, ERP, subledgers, invoices and banks, and carries the work from one year to the next so the second audit starts where the first finished. Every input is logged, traced to its source and assigned to a named auditor. Routine work is done by systems, judgement stays with people. We are a registered audit firm in Norway, live with clients today, with teams in London and Oslo.

What you'll own

• The Swedish practice: strategy, market entry, and the plan for getting there
• Client acquisition and the relationships that follow, from first conversation to signed opinion
• Audit delivery and quality, including scoping, exceptions and signing
• The local team you hire, and how the model proven in other countries takes root here

Who we're looking for

• A qualified auditor with years of experience, trained at a Big Four or another reputable firm
• Someone who has carried both commercial responsibility and signing responsibility
• Comfortable working with engineers and product people, and changing how the work is done
• Direct, hands-on, and willing to build something before it exists
