Why Benford

Audit at the small and mid-market end has been abandoned while fees keep rising. The largest firms are stepping back, and every previous attempt to modernise audit aimed at the auditor's desk and left the firm untouched.

We went the other way and built a vertically integrated audit firm. We hold the licence, we build the platform and we employ the auditor who signs. Our engine, AuditOS, connects to the systems a company runs on, and carries the work from one year to the next so the second audit starts where the first finished. Routine work is done by systems, judgement stays with people.

What you'll own

• Benford's presence at your university: who knows us, what they think we do, and how they hear about roles and internships
• Events on campus and with us, from talks and coffee chats to hackathons, shaped the way you think will actually land
• The relationships that matter, with societies, course leads and the individuals you think we should be talking to
• Honest signal back to us on what students care about and where we are getting the pitch wrong

Who we're looking for

• A current UK university student with real reach in tech, engineering or finance circles
• Range. You are comfortable writing, organising and pitching, often in the same week
• Early enough in our story that what you build becomes the way we recruit
• You are curious about how a new generation of companies gets built, and you want to be close enough to see it

Practical

Part-time, hybrid, based in the UK with time alongside the team in London.
